The mission of Atelier Tomi is to create high quality wood musical instruments that will be enjoyed for many generations.
Our repertoire of woodworking skills encompasses many diverse elements of the natural world. We love to make ukuleles, guitars and more. We do not limit our use of woods to the traditional luthier woods of spruce, maple, mahogany and Brazilian rosewood.
We like to draw upon the large supply of Missouri hardwoods such as sycamore, osage orange, mulberrry, walnut and white oak as well as exotics such as Southeast Asian rosewood, African bubinga, Australian lacewood and silky oak, Canadian cypress, Mexican cocobollo, Indian ebony and Honduran rosewood.
In addition to the sale of fine wood instruments, we offer professional stringed instrument and bow repair services.
